Who We Are

Welcome to Heartland Gospel Assembly and our online community! HGA was founded in May of 07 with the vision of building a meaningful church experience so that we can seek God in safety, grow in our faith, and make a difference in our community. God has called us to Minister Grace and Truth in Today's World for Christ and to fulfill the Great Commission. With that as our motto, God has called HGA to:
* to see souls believe on Christ and confess Jesus as the Son of God
* to see God's healing power manifested
* to see deliverance and bondage's broken
* to teach Bible doctrine and preach the revelation of the Cross
* to provide the resources for Christian Education
If you want something that's genuine, if you feel your need to grow in faith, if you want wholesome fellowship with other Christians, and you desire for Christ to fulfill His purpose in you, then you've found the right place!

The Following are HGA's Tenets of Faith:

These truths are held in highest regard in this ministry and shall be among the truths that are considered in all decisions, business, and spiritual matters.

We Believe:

1.  The Scriptures are Inspired by God, both New and Old Testaments and are the revelation of God to man and are infallible and without error.

2.  The one true God who is the Father, and Jesus Christ the Son who is the propitiation for our sins and not for our sins only but for the sin of the whole world.

3.  The Baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 and that all believers should earnestly seek the Promise of the Father. The Holy Spirit endues us with power and service and the bestowment of gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.

4.  The Church and its Mission concerning man is to present the message of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ (salvation by grace through His shed blood), to be worshiped by man and to build a body of believers into the image of the Son of God.

5.  Divine Healing is an integral part of the Gospel.  We believe according to scripture that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the Atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.

6.  The Blessed Hope,  the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those alive and remain unto the imminent return and second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.  This is the blessed hope of the Church.

7.  The Final Judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works.  Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels, the beast and false prophet, will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

8.  The New Heavens and the New Earth which we according to His Promise, look for a New Heaven and New Earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

9.  The creation of all things were accomplished in six literal days by the creators and their masterful hands, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

Ordinances: we believe

1. The Ordinance of Baptism by water, by immersion and should be observed as commanded by the scriptures, by all who have fully repented and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:37; Romans 6:3-5

2.  The Ordinance of the Lord's Supper and should be regularly observed and enjoined upon the believer.  Luke 22:19,20 I Corinthians 11:23-26

3.  The Ordinance of infants and small children may be dedicated to the Lord in the assembly whenever requested. Mark 10:13-16; Luke 18:15-16

4.  The sick should be prayed for, with the anointing of oil and laying on of hands upon request.  Mark 16:18; James 5:14
